By downloading or using Mira you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. Description of the service
Mira is a media player application that connects to your own compatible media server and plays your content. It is available on the web, on iOS and Android, on Samsung TV (Tizen), and on Roku. The app acts exclusively as a player: it does not host, distribute, produce, or facilitate content of any kind.
2. Requirements
To use Mira you need:
- A supported platform: a modern web browser, an iOS or Android device, a Samsung TV (Tizen), or a Roku device.
- An active subscription or account with your own compatible media server.
Mira does not include any channels, movies, or series. The developer has no affiliation with any media provider.
3. User responsibility for content
The user is solely responsible for:
- Choosing a provider whose operation is legal in their jurisdiction.
- Verifying that the content accessed through their provider is authorized for distribution.
- Complying with copyright and intellectual property laws applicable in their country.
The developer of Mira is not responsible for content broadcast by third-party providers or for any unlawful use of the application by the user.
4. Acceptable use
The following are expressly prohibited:
- Using Mira to access content that infringes intellectual property rights.
- Attempting to decompile, modify, or redistribute the application without authorization.
- Using the application in a way that violates local, national, or international laws.
5. Demo mode
Mira includes a built-in demo mode that does not require a personal account. The demo catalog contains exclusively Creative Commons licensed content and public-domain test streams. This content belongs to its respective authors and is distributed under the license indicated for each work.
6. Cross-device sync
Mira offers an optional sync feature that keeps playback progress, favorites, and profiles up to date across your devices. This service is self-hosted and operated by the developer and is provided "as is", without any guarantee of continuous availability. The handling of data transmitted by this feature is described in the Privacy Policy. The developer may suspend, modify, or discontinue this service at any time without prior notice.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
Mira is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. Uninterrupted availability or compatibility with all providers is not guaranteed. Content quality and availability depend solely on the provider contracted by the user.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the developer shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use Mira.
9. Modifications
These terms may be updated at any time. The current version will always be available at this URL with the update date. Continued use of the app after an update implies acceptance of the new terms.
